Ghana continues to record victims of Child Trafficking, Marriage and Exploitation (CTME). Most of these girls end up in the cities of Ghana.

We work with several partners to identify and rescue victims of CTME in the neighbourhoods of Accra. Young girls who are rescued willingly take on vocational skills training and attachment to local Master Trade persons, a reintegration method introduced by AG Care Ghana.

Transforming Lives Together.

Our approach

From dependency to self-reliance: past trainees of the AG Care skills training programme are embracing income generating activities like dressmaking, bead designing, braiding and beauty care to earn a living.

“These girls, they are my life's mission.”

The Lifeline Center has the capacity to rescue 100 girls each year. Together with my incredible team, and with the help of many partners, we provide them a place to feel safe, regain strength, and acquire life skills.

The team

Grace, together with three Programme Officers, manages the intake and development of the Lifeline girls.

After graduation

All girls are supported and reintegrated into new communities or back in their hometown. With regular visits, we make sure that they can take back control over their lives.

The best way to learn about the impact of the Lifeline Center is to let the girls speak for themselves. Read our blogs, and spread awareness by sharing them on social media.
